&lt;p&gt;The old site was a &amp;ldquo;mess&amp;rdquo; of manual HTML files, hardcoded paths, and outdated information. As a Senior Research Engineer at BSC, I needed something that:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Reflects my current role&lt;/strong&gt; in Climate Modelling and HPC.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Is Low Maintenance:&lt;/strong&gt; I want to spend my time on research, not on debugging broken HTML tags.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Is Data-Driven:&lt;/strong&gt; My CV is now automatically generated from the same YAML files I use for my TeX-based CV.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ol&gt;
&lt;h3 id="whats-new"&gt;What&amp;rsquo;s new?&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;rsquo;ve moved to &lt;strong&gt;Hugo&lt;/strong&gt; with the &lt;strong&gt;PaperMod&lt;/strong&gt; theme. It&amp;rsquo;s fast, minimal, and doesn&amp;rsquo;t require a complex Ruby environment like Jekyll.
